Add Colour

I was originally commissioned to retouch just the drinks element of this project, which in itself was a substantial job with multiple cutouts of various drinks, jugs and SKUs, comped into numerous arrangements and combinations on the tray. The background / people element was a separate job supposed to have been done simultaneously, this however somehow fell thru and I was asked to take that on as well.

In many ways it was more complex than the drinks with multiple complex cutouts of people, tables, benches and various other props all to be comped together in various combinations and layouts for the different poster formats, as well as the cutouts they all needed to be grounded with shadows and lighting adjustments with different levels of blur to create the depth of field. Luckily for me Adobe had introduced smart objects by this time which enabled multiple iterations of blur, position and scale without having to start afresh each time with a clean version of the images.
